WEDNESDAY NITE TAVERN LEAGUE
2011 Golf Season
Start Date: May 11, 2011
Duration: 20 weeks with Playoffs
Format: Two person scramble
Age Limit: All players must be at least 21 years of age.
Number of teams: 58 two person teams. All sponsors from the 2010 Tavern League will have the first option of entering the same amount of teams for the 2011 season. For example if a sponsor had 4 teams last year they would have the opportunity to have the same amount of teams this year. The Sponsors have until April 29th for the first option. After that date there is no guarantee that you will have the same amount of teams in the 2011 Tavern League. Any new teams for the 2011 league will be placed on a waiting list. On April 30th the teams on the waiting list will be added in the order they signed up.
Team entry fee: $90 per team. Entry fees must be paid up by the first week of league.
End of year: Drinking trophies will be awarded for each Division.
Prizes awarded for Division Winners.
End of year party September 21st.
Miscellaneous:
1. One Sponsor featured each week per Division.
A. Each featured Sponsor donates one bottle of booze or two 12 packs beer (per team) for Drawing held after each weeks matches finished. All of the donations may be brought out on the first night of league.

B. CBGC will donate 2 $5 Gift Certificates per division for each weeks drawing.
C. All teams are eligible for the drawings held after the conclusion of each match.
D. Teams drawn must be present to win prize. If not present, the prize will be redrawn with exception to the 50/50 Drawing.
2. Any featured tavern from each division should run drink specials that night to entice players to patronize that tavern.
3. League play starts at 5:30pm from 5/11-8/3 and at 5:00 for the rest of the season.
4. Time allowed to accumulate points for drinking trophy will be from 4:30pm until beverage cart is off the course. Points for the drinking trophy will count only on the beverage cart.

TOTAL $20 without Skins and 50/50
We will be using the 6-point scoring system. 4 points awarded for match play and 2 points awarded for the total score.
